Our intimate, small-group candle workshops at Bentall Centre. These classes are designed for beginners and candle lovers who want a relaxed, creative experience and a beautiful handmade candle (or two) to take home.
What Happens in Our Workshops
Every session begins with a warm welcome with light snacks and beverages while you explore our scent library for each session. Our team then guides you step-by-step through the fundamentals of candle making: choosing fragrance blends, and learning safe, professional pouring techniques.
By the end of the workshop, you will have crafted your own custom-scented candle(s) and gained enough confidence to keep experimenting at home. All classes are beginner-friendly and kept deliberately small so you get plenty of guidance and time to ask questions.
Types of Candle Workshops We Offer
We currently run several themed workshops at Bentall Centre, all following the same hands-on format but with different inspirations and take-home items.
All workshops share the same foundation: clear instruction, a calm and social atmosphere, and a focus on crafting something personal you can actually use and enjoy.
After the Workshop: Perks and Policies
Workshop guests receive a 15% off on Ollie & Co. retail products in the retail space, making it easy to stock up on favourite scents or gifts while you are already on-site. Classes require a minimum of six participants; if a session does not meet that minimum, small groups may be combined or the date may be rescheduled, and attendees are contacted in advance.
This structure keeps every workshop feeling lively while still preserving the intimate, guided experience that Ollie & Co. is known for.

For larger private groups, team building, or corporate events in Vancouver, we also adapt these workshop formats into tailored sessions that can be booked separately. We also host mobile workshop.
